Holy Crap!

Apparently, today was my day for sample and coupons! I just received my samples from Target and P&G Everyday Samples. At first I was a little skeptic of P&G so I only selected a few items from the list but damn not I regret not getting more samples :P When I decided to try it out I only selected 2 things for samples and 5 coupons. It’s been a couple of weeks since I ordered them and I was starting to believe I wasn’t going to be getting them at all. But today I checked the mail and there they were. I received a sample of Always Maxi Pads and Pantene Aqua Light shampoo and conditioner.

And from Target, I received a small pink and orage stripe makeup bag with Pantene Color Preserve, Nivea Extended Moisture, Neutrogena Daily Facial Cleanser, Simple Cleaning Facial Wipes, and L’OREAL Magic Lumi Primer. And of course it came with a little book with 13 coupons, some of which I may never use along with the Neutrogena. Not that I don’t like the product, cause I honestly never tried it. Just that I’m afraid of what it’ll do to my skin. In the past, whenever I used the Neutrogena face soap, it would dry out my skin really bad…and I don’t want to go through that again.

But besides that, I’m so excited to try these samples! It may be a while before I actually try them out like like the shampoo & conditioner and the lotions cause I really would like to have those in case of an emergency. I still have enough to last me a while so they’ll sit in my bathroom closet until I’m ready to use them :P But that’s all for now, maybe I’ll get lucky and get a whole lot more tomorrow lol

It’s Finally Out!

For the past couple of months, Doorway Promotions and I have been working on a fan-made music video for a local band called Wayland. Now it’s finally done and out. Doorway Promotions has posted it on their Facebook Page, and in a few days it’ll also be posted on Youtube for more of you to see. But even though it is on facebook, it’s still visible to everyone. Don’t have to be a friend to see if but it would be nice to have a comment or two from you, my beauties. Go Watch It and let us know what you think :)

Nothing at all…

It’s been a little while since I’ve made any kind of post on here, but honestly…I’m not really sure what to write about. There hasn’t been much going on besides me looking for a job and opening up a blogger page for my graphics and what not. For a while I had been contemplating on whether or not I should add it to this page but it just didn’t feel right having the resources up, so Resource Love was created. Actually I just created it today, so there’s nothing up as of yet but I’ll have some stuff soon I hope. But other than that, there’s nothing else to say. Well, maybe I’m wrong haha. I received a couple of samples this week but I’m waiting until the end of the month to post about all of them. I haven’t used any yet but I have put some away, like the tea samples I got. But, like I said, that will all be posted at the end of them month because I only get about 1 or two things a week and it’s not really much to make a post about it. But alas, I’m going back to doing house work and creating a HTML/CSS template. One of many that will, hopefully, be up on Resource Love.

I’ve been searching for a job like mad lately and as of yet no luck. I hate have to search for a new job. Every time I look for something new, it takes forever to get something. I’ve applied to a bunch of places within the past 2 weeks and nothing. Most places aren’t even hiring just accepting applications and the ones that are never call back. And…when I call them I get the same reply; “The manager hasn’t gone through all the applications yet” or “The manager hasn’t looked through your application yet”. It’s always the same thing and honestly I’m starting to think they’re just lying about it. Why? Why not just say they already filled the position yet? It’s getting rather annoying and frustrating :/

Just recieved my sample

Scentsy Sample I’ve been requesting a few samples for just about 1 week. And although a few it says I have to wait for a month before I get them, this one came in just a few days. I signed up for a sample from Scentsy, and I just got it in the mail today. I opened up my mail box and I got a really strong smell from the sample. Surprising when it’s in a small ziplock and in the envelope. It’s not one of those smells that overpowers so much that you get sick, it’s actually very nice. It’s not very big, maybe 1 inch in diameter and thin, but it’s a good size just to sample it. You can order a sample from their sample site, getafreescent.com. Although, they only have 3 scents to sample now… Midnight Fig, Autumn Stroll, and Pixie. The one I receive is called Sunkissed Citrus and I said, it smells wonderful. I say, if you haven’t bought a scentsy and want to or just want a sample to see if you’ll like it…get it. You won’t regret it. :)

Dollhouse

Just gone done watching Dollhouseand wow. I didn’t expect it to turn out the way it did. I mean, the first seasons ending was a bit weird but it was cool how the revisited that same ending in season 2 just to finish off the story. It was a nice twist to things…not like most shows I’ve seen where the ending is always predictable. And Alpha turning…nice? Yea not expecting that one. Actually when I saw him in the last episode, my first words were “oh shit”. Like I said, unpredictable. And poor Echo, finally finding out who she is and being able to keep who she became with all her personalities, falling in love only to lose it. That was sad but a beautiful ending nonetheless. Alpha giving echo her love back. Maybe not in body but who he is lives in her. Didn’t expect to have that ending at all but then again…it’s the Dollhouse, they can do anything. Definitely a great show, and if you haven’t watched it yet…What the hell are you reading this for!? Go watch it! :)

Stupid Products & Their Advertisments

I’ve seen a lot  of commercials for many stupid products but this one is the worst, in my opinion. The Trendy Top. Decent name… It goes over your hips to “slim” them down. The commercial I just saw makes me laugh those. It shoes women with muffin tops trying to hide their little bellies…pretty much a girl like me. I’m not fit and I could stand to loose a bit of weight but what makes me laugh is that those women aren’t the ones wearing the Trendy Top. It’s the little toothpick girls that are wearing them. Umm…I thought it was to help women hide their muffin top, not be a fashion item to these skinny little girls. And honestly, I don’t think the top should even exist. It just makes heavier women hate themselves. You should love who you are, whether you’re 140lbs or even 200lbs. Be yourself, love yourself. If you want to lose weight, then that’s fine but do it for yourself. Don’t do it for others or because society thinks you should.

Searching for new things…

Lately I’ve been on a hunt for free coupons and free samples. I’ve been looking all over the place and have found quite a few good ones. The part that sucks is that most of these samples you have to wait for a month to get but I think in the end it’ll be worth getting them. I’m waiting to get things like the new Tide Pods, Güd lotion, and Armani Code Sport for my boyfriend. Of course, these are samples but cool to receive nonetheless.

But I did find one interesting site. It’s called Cupious. There’s a lot of amazing things there that I’d love to buy. Anything from shoes to clothes, even dishes. I found out about the site on facebook and got an invite from a friend. Fire!

Last night was fun. We went out to a bonfire, partied and got some beautiful fire pictures. So now I have some nice stock photos for my next project… It was amazing to see the flames almost touch the trees. I was a bit shocked it actually didn’t catch on fire but awesome nonetheless. I’ve posted them on my Facebook page.
